North Carolina Coast

I am back from a trip to the coast of North Carolina. I had a chance to relax, practice using my camera (for photos other than jewelry) and get some inspiration for new designs. Despite the wet weather, I had an amazing time!

Road Trip, New Designs & Some Give-Aways

I'm taking a road trip down south to the beaches of the Outer Banks. My destination - a beautiful ocean front home where I'll be staying with friends until next month. During this time I plan on relaxing, soaking up some inspiration, practicing photography with my new SLR and working on filling up my inventory for the busy holiday season ahead.

Lazy Squirrel

From afar this squirrel looked like it was laying astride this branch like a cat might on a railing, all limp. At closer inspection, you can see his back claws dug into the branch.

I worked from home on Thursday and watched this Fox Squirrel through the dining room window as it lounged on this branch for several hours watching me work. Since I am officially starting vacation today, I can relate to it's attitude! I am off to Sedona, Arizona for a week with my parents. I am told I'll have internet connectivity there, so I'll be able to blog some of the stunning scenery I expect to wallow in. Lazy indeed.
