The perfect winter accessory...

Though I love clothes, those who know me know how big I am on accessories. Whether it's a headband, necklace, charms, bracelets, bags, hats etc. I recently got a request from a friend on hats that are in for the winter. I found some pretty cool options from asos. Now I know the turban has been making it's way back in style (Carrie wore one in Sex & the City 2), but it's the first I've seen of winter turbans which I found pretty cool, I'm also really big on berets, beanie's and floppy hats! If you're really looking for warmth, the trapper hat was and still is a trend for men and women.

Betina Lou A/W '11

Finally got my laptop :) So here we go.. it's been a while since I've posted properly. Montreal Fashion week went on last week and recently ended on Thursday. One of the designers that was there to show case their Autumn Winter collection was Betina Lou. I absolutely fell in love with this collection. Betina Lou is known for her pieces being timeless and feminine. Some of these outfits actually remind me of how Blair Waldorf dresses in Gossip Girl.

Fall Favourite: Prints

Lately I've been a really big fan of prints and this fall as seen on several runways, prints are in. I just came across New York based designer label Suno by Max Osterweis. Max Osterweis is known for his detailed and crazy patterns which makes sense since he spent a lot of time in Kenya collecting unique textiles. If you're into prints than you'll definitely love Suno's Fall collection.

Note: I just got back from Dubai literally an hour ago! I haven't been able to visit or comment on any of my favourite blogs the whole time because of time, family and sometimes bad Internet connection. But I'm back now! x

Victoria Beckham A/W '10

I absolutely adore Victoria Beckham's. Ever realise how she dresses so fashionable and looks so polished without showing too much? Her Fall collection of dresses display exactly that! I also love how everything she designs is something she would wear herself, not a lot of celebrity designers do that. I'll admit at first I wasn't taking Victoria Beckham as a serious designer, but she's proved me wrong. How gorgeous does this collection look?

Circle Scarf for the Fall

I'm really loving the circle scarf! Last year I fell in love with a Burberry circle scarf and wanted it for my birthday but decided to go for something else. American Apparel, a high street store sells tons of circle scarfs and in a variety of colors. I really want to buy a few for the fall :) I kind of miss the cold.. even though I know when it gets colder I will regret saying that! Can't believe summer is almost done. It just started a week and a half ago for me! So sad.. but oh well!

Getting ready for the fall w/trenches

(1. BB Dakota by Jack Aubree Trench Coat, BELOW 2. Only Happy When it Rains Trench Coat , 3. Keep Your Cowl Coat by Knitted Dove)

So even though I'm mixing Summer and Fall collections I really am trying to stack more on fall wear since Canada is colder 6 - 7 months out of the year. I love trench coats! I recently talked about a few of my favourite coats from Elisabetta and Burberry. Here are a few more of my favourites :)

I'm really loving the Cape trend! I haven't gotten around to go to the mall and start at least some of my fall/winter shopping, but when I do a cape is definitely on my wish list. They look so comfy! I'm really loving the tie waist cape, gorgeous! Pair them up with leggings and some hot boots for the fall and you're good to go.

A/W '10 Trend: Sheer/Lace

I'm completely loving the A/W '10 trend that has been showcased in almost all of the runways. (below) The Sheer/Lace trend is really becoming popular with a lot of designers and even high street stores (forever 21, H&M, TopShop). “It’s so easy to layer sheer clothing and make a statement,” Rachel Bilson tells InStyle.

I've already got three sheer tops and I've worn them a few times before it got so warm, but now I'm just waiting for it too cool down a little to get to wear them again.

Remember to join the challenge here.

Mulberry A/W'10

I'm loving Mulberry's A/W collection. I love how the fall collection is integrating a bit of summery colors like the use of violet in a few pieces, I absolutely adore!

A/W '10: Cape

Even though summer is still here, fall is approaching soon which means you're going to have to start stacking on sweaters and jackets. An amazing alternate for Jacket's this fall is the Cape. Raquel Zimmermann looks very elegant in this Vogue photo shoot. My favourite would have to be the striped black and white louis Vuitton wool cape (below), gorgeous!
