| I made this simple bath salts label on Picnik in seconds! |
If you are looking for a fun, easy way to make funky labels for all of the fabulous handmade Holiday gifts you are whipping up this season, check out Picnik.
First, click on the "Upload Photo" button on the home page to upload your image. Then go to town under the "Create" tab by resizing, adding bling, killer fonts or effects. When you are finished, save your work under the "Save & Share" tab and then import the file into a Word document (or other application you like to work with). I copied and pasted multiple labels onto one page, as I was making several jars of bath salts.Print the page full of labels out onto your desired paper. It helps to use a regular paper weight for items or packages with any contours, but you could also use card stock for a flat-surfaced item. If you are concerned about water damage to the label (say, for a body wash or something), you can use waterproof printing paper. It also helps to have a quality printer. Something I don't own! LOL!
Cut out your label and adhere it to your product using spray adhesive (I use Scotch Super 77). You can even use those scissors with the fancy edges to add interest.
Oh, and if you are looking for the recipe for these Lavender Bath Salts, check out this post from September!
