I have just changed the look of the homepage of my website so that it now includes more pics and a little "vintage style tip" which will be changed every few weeks. What do you think?
Well I think I will start out by posting an interesting little journey I had with the family. We took a journey on one of the few sunny days we had, to the little village of Broadchalke, Wiltshire. We stopped there for 2 reasons, one being we saw a most glorious garden which I had to get a better look at and the other was because there is an old church there, and I like old churches and graveyards! They are full of interest and so peaceful.
After admiring the garden, I ventured into the graveyard. I was talking to Paul ( hubby) about the blossom trees and he suddenly said "Wow, look behind you!" and there it was, Cecil Beaton's grave! I couldn't quite beleive it. The grave is directly under a blossom tree and I thought, quite a lovely place to buried!

This is the second time we came across a famous grave, the other being Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, which if I remember correctly is in the graveyard of a small church in Minstead in the New forest. That was quite a "spiritual" event because when we found the grave, the sky went dark very quickly and suddenly lightning began over the field behind the graveyard! I was expecting the "Hound" to start howling but alas, no, just rain!
Bye for now.......
