shoppe updates!!!if you've been popping by recently, you'd have noticed some little changes around the shoppe! (little visible changes here and there, but a gazillion changes back-end! it was a big operation of sorts...) we were getting tired of the same few little categories, so to make browsing easier and quicker, (and it's also time to grow alittle eh?) there are now more precise categories for the items you're looking for, so do go take a looky if you still haven't!
we've also recently ended partnership with our friend, sharon, in managing
crafthings, whose website, admittedly, has been neglected, due to the wholesale opportunities we've been concentrating on for our super popular wooden bag handles. added to that, ordering from the craftsmen, working with them, giving them suggestions on improving the design and quality of the handles, has also been super time-consuming.... so anyhoo, a new category of
craft supplies has now been included in littleoddforest! makes things easier for all of us, eh? ;)
other products updates include:
- junior-size silkscreened tanktops (brand new designs!)

- love owl sling purses (brand new variations + restocks!)- love owl key-ring pouch (brand new colors + restocks!)- love unicorn wristlets (brand new colors + restocks!)- bird flying in forest totes (brand new colors restocks!)
- rebel hedgehogs, woody-sans, treelings (restocks!)- and too many more to mention here! so go looky in the shoppe!
have you seen our
wee little treelings yet???? there is also a
pin brooch variation, a mini-plush variation (soon!) and magnet variation (soon!).. we've spent so much time on those... hope you like them!! or all our pricked fingers and strained eyes would have been for nothin... boo hooo...
to be expected soon:- summer-bird bangle clutches- leaf couplet bags- brand new bags collection! spring/summer'08(will be launched and available online in our shoppe in stages, as we'll be fulfilling our stockists' orders for them first)
and if you don't like shopping online, do visit our list of
stockists here! almost all of our united states and australian stockists, and also our largest stockist here in singapore - anthropology - have placed large orders to stock up for the holidays - and they should all have received their goods by the end of this month. pop by at their stores if you can! if they don't carry a range of designs you were looking for, just let them know about it ;)
*tired eyes and manly-veiny-hands*sidetrack - my one and only doctor friend told me last night that my "manly" skinny crooked fingers and thin hands are a result of learning to use the pen and playing the piano at a too early age.... so they were overdeveloped too early... mrs lye said i just wouldn't let go of the pen since less than a year-old, and i started learning the piano with a psycho piano teacher from my 3rd birthday... so now you know, lana, mao, mandy and b... :pppp

so, i've been really bad with updates, replying emails, keeping up with blogs/forums/etc., replying messages, the list goes on. i've just been really lousy at doing all these, and especially so recently. have been super busy, and there are too many things going on!! other than the usual work and personal matters, i've just attended my 10th wedding in 3 months, and helping out with about half of them. that makes a wedding every single week since mid-august!!!! and includes having not many weekends for my own agenda... and i was even away for 3 weekends in america. wassup man???! it's crazy! of course i'm happy for them all, 2 of my cousins, and 8 friends (my elementary school classmate's was last sat... thats like 21 years since we all knew each other! ahh!!... tick tock tick tock), but i think it's just this adult thing that i'm not ready for yet... marriage to me has little to do with love/commitment (what with 50% of my married friends being divorced/separated....), it's more like an official proclamation of independence for me, but since i'm pretty much independent in almost all aspects of my current life, except for not having/owning my very own place, the next step i see would be to move out. have my own place first. i absolutely cannot fathom still living with someone who, as a natural instinct/habit, treats you like a kid still, when you're already financially independent and do all your own chores.
kc, you were kind of insensitive last weekend when you insisted i went to batam with you, amongst many other unnecessary comments and swipes you took at me, which i shan't mention here... i don't look busy at all??? ppfffttttt. it's like when you're feeling so ill, and then someone gives you a casual comment "but you don't look sick to me"... like wtf??? some people just don't look like they're half-dead, even though they actually are. i don't see the need to act as if i'm dying if i can still help it. if i'm sincere in hanging out with someone, i don't have to "look" busy. what does that even mean anyways???? i'm not some big shot banker or whatever... if i'm out, i'm out to enjoy, relax. i might even turn off my cellphone. hey i need to breathe sometime yeah?? but that doesn't mean i've the time to spare and spend 1 whole day with you guys. i'll have a couple of hours for some drinks, but not 1 whole day. i've this thing about not staying indoors for more than 24 hours straight. being indoors too long never fails to make me sick. i need the air, the sunshine, the rain, the... you get it. indoors too long... yucky. i'll just wither and die. but it doesn't mean i'm not busy, i'm entitled to choose to hang out for a few hours, am i not?
anywho, back to weddings, or something else similar ;p another form of "union". even kiki, one of our cats, decided that she needed some lovin' before we brought her to be sterilised, and just suddenly sprang out of the front door when we were bringing in her carrier, catching us totally unaware, since she NEVER springs out to anywhere like that. the need for her last tryst must have been too overpowering..... hahaha.. so she came back almost 3 weeks later, a big single pregnant mummy, sitting up right outside b's home's front gate (meow! take care of me! i'm big and heavy!) tsk tsk tsk. and she gave birth last sat night, while i was away at the wedding dinner... 5 kitties! they're all fine, and kiki's tummy sure is getting saggier than ever before... it feels alittle weird carrying her now... with all that excess flab...
okie dok. work. late. hurry. ta-ta!
ooohh i almost forgot! i went to singapore etsy's craft swop at makisquarepatch last saturday as well!! more updates and photos later!! promise.
